Valuing our Life Support SystemsWe attracted a great line-up of speakers from business, policy, research and NGOs at our Natural Capital Initiative symposium: a partnership of the Institute of Biology, the British Ecological Society and the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. Their talks are now available in PowerPoint format at www.naturalcapitalinitiative.org.uk This initiative is: Informing the Government's implementation of the ecosystems approach - a framework for looking at whole ecosystems in decision making and valuing the services they provide. Identifying gaps in science, policy and implementation that inhibit an ecosystems approach.
